The great and the meh
Warm hosts. The room was clean, with a microwave and mini fridge that greatly enhanced my stay.
The bathroom could use some updates. It felt a bit dated and detracted from the otherwise pleasant experience.

The location was best possible and convenient - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. It was nice for getting to Karst Gallery.

Location near the Redwoods.
Old, outdated decor and musty smell. The bed was hard.

Nice experience there. Nice hotel located so close to beautiful Garberville, and Avenue of the Giants. Particularly good and easy location to weedy area with free parking if needed. For tea or coffee visit Eel River Cafe nearby. A huge variety of options for breakfast in the cafe...

We had a good stay on our road trip.
The staff were amicable and courteous and the location was excellent close to Avenue of the Giants. Actually the room was neat with new TV and good firm mattresses and the condition.

The Motel is in a nice location. You can enjoy the sunrise on the patio in front of your room.
The bathrooms are a little bit shabby.

Had free internet access. Good value for the price.
TV was from the 1980s (or maybe even the 1970s). Towels were clean, but they had permanent spots on them.

Felt super cozy in the Standard Queen Room with Two Queen Beds! Dee and Nemu gave me a warm welcome and the cleanliness was on point! Just a heads up, the AC unit can be a bit noisy 😅

The price was right. No road noise and within walking distance of the other businesses in the town.
The rooms, especially the shower and bathroom walls, were very dirty. The towels needed to be replaced - they had been used and not replaced.
